Only for frosted / brushed metals. Gold, silver, aluminum, copper, brass should be processed with special sandpaper 5000 using a light sanding motion.
First treat stainless steel or platinum with special sandpaper 2000. If the structure with sandpaper 2000 is very thin, carefully repeat the process with sandpaper 1000 (color: gray). This allows the original structure of the matte / brushed surface to be reproduced.
