3M Headlight Repair Process

       Step 1:

• Clean headlights with soapy water and mascara resistant tape (2328 or 2090) the surfaces around it.
• In cases of very severe damage (intense yellowness, or very deep lines) start sanding with a P500 255P + 75mm disc (50080) on a soft intermediate bottom (05 771) using an eccentric rotary sander with 75mm 40-50psi pressure.

         Step 2:

• In many cases, damage to traffic lights can be repaired starting the sanding P800 260L 75mm discs (00910) on a soft intermediate bottom (05 771) using an eccentric rotary sander with 75mm 40-50psi pressure.
• Wipe the traffic lights after grinding to make sure that all lines or yellowing removed.
• If not, repeat the process.

        Step 3:

• Remove the lines from the previous procedure using Trizact P1000 discs (50 413) on the soft intermediate bottom.
• Use a sprayer and splash the traffic lights and the abrasive disc Trizact.
• During grinding would create a white slurry. This means that the cutting disc.
• Wipe lanterns.
• The result will be a uniform blur osapotelesma lines P1000 on the lanterns.

       Step 4:

• P3000 Trizact
• The unique pyramidal structure of Trizact discs make polishing process easier
• Insert the P3000 Trizact Abrasive disc 75 mm (50415) on the soft intermediate bottom.
• Xanapsekaste water and start grinding.
• With this method the surface is clean and shining partially.
• The surface is now ready for application of ointment.

       Step 5:

• Polishing process
• Polish putting a few drops of the ointment Plastic Restorer (59015) on green 75mm sponge (50 499).
• Initially use low speeds on polisher and middle pressure. Then
• increase the speed and relax the pressure.
• Continue to erase the lines and enter the original shine.

      Step 6:

• final Shoe
• To give the final polish, put a few drops of the ointment Plastic Polish (59016) on yellow 75mm sponge (50536).
• Initially use low speeds on polisher and middle pressure.
• Then increase the turns and loosen the pressure.
